IoT Gas Meter User Instructions


I. Post-Recharge Operations

After successfully completing the recharge process at the service center, return home and long-press the red function button on the meter. Release the red button when the LCD displays "send." The LCD will then show "send-xx," indicating data interaction is in progress, where "xx" represents the signal strength. When the LCD displays "-succ-," communication is successful. You can check the recharge amount on the meter a few minutes later.


II. Recharge Methods

1. Counter Recharge: Users can visit the gas company's service counter with their account name and gas meter number for recharge.

2. WeChat Recharge:

A. Enter homepageof the official WeChat account > Navigate to Self-Service > IoT Meter Binding > Enter the IoT meter number >enter user name>return to the previous menu after successful binding

B. Enter homepageof the official WeChat account > Navigate to Self-Service > IoT Meter Recharge> Click "I want to check" (you can view the balance on the meter)>. Enter the recharge amount >click "I want to recharge."

3. If theres still balance or theres no urgent needs for gas, no operation is required after recharging and the gas meter automatically communicates in the early morning of the next day of recharging, and the next day it can be automatically recharged successfully.


III. Balance Inquiry Methods:

1. Enterhomepageof the official WeChat account> Navigate to Self-Service > IoT Meter Recharge> Click "I want to check" to view the balance on the meter

2. Alternatively, press the red function button on the meter to check the balance.

Note: IoT gas meters have an alarm setting. When the account balance is less than 30 yuan, the system will trigger a valve-closing alarm to remind users to recharge promptly. In this situation, users can press the red function button on the meter to restore normal gas usage.
